Charina Cabanayan, designer and founder of Bloom Butik, said "Even though we are just off University and there is plenty of parking around I was nervous when I committed to opening a store on Bryant Street. Gitti's was the only other store on the street and it was under new ownership. Shortly after opening I was delighted to meet Eza as she told me about Yasmin Couture. In a few short months we've added Chamosa and Vian Hunter. The street suddenly is becomming a shopping destination and all the store owners are delightful to work with."

The owners of these stores have a common bond in their love of fashion and style. They are working together as the Boutiques on Bryant Street Association and are planning a number of special events such as fashion shows, street parties, makeover events, private shopping parties and other things. In addition the stores plan on being open during the First Friday Gallery Walk, a joint program among participating art galleries of Palo Alto which stay open late so the public can mix their gallery expericen with a shopping experience.
